DVD Program

1World Aero is the first and only flight school in the region to video tape each and every flight lesson from within the cockpit!  At the end of each lesson the student receives a MiniDVD copy of their lesson.   These recordings provide a very powerful and effective learning tool, and can be used to your advantage to keep your total training time to a minimum.  The disks can be reviewed at home between flights, and allow you to listen in to all intercom conversations.  Furthermore you can replay actual transmissions to and from ATC and strengthen your own radio skills. 

Many students feel that the amount of information presented during the initial lessons is overwhelming.  Videos allow you to pick up on  many instructor comments that you miss  in flight because you are too distracted by some task at hand. 

The recordings are very useful for replaying and memorizing rote procedures, such as transitioning into slow flight, and recovering from a stall, setting up for a simulated emergency approach, setting up for final descent, or preparing for contact with a control tower.  The list goes on. 

Most significantly, the disks allow you to replay one approach and landing after another, and view any particular landing as many times as you need.   A student can see themselves flaring too quickly, approaching too high, or landing off the centerline.  The student can even determine which rudder they should have applied to capture that centerline!

MiniDVD R disks and recordings are provided as a complementary service.    Students are requested to maintain any recorded disk for 90 days before discarding them.
